Mahatma Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Though we are unsure as to how our nation might be judged as a whole, we have always been proponents of respect for and kindness toward all animals, wild and domestic. The majesty and grace of these animals with which we share this planet is ever-amazing, and that's what we strive to capture in our photographs. Most of our images are captured in nature, but any images taken while the animal is in captivity will be indicated in the photo's description. Please feel free to email us with any further questions about any of the images you see on this site.

An incredibly fortuitous capture of a coyote in Yellowstone, Feb '08. We were there photographing wolves, waaaay far off. I'd just turned away for a second to change batteries, then turned back and there, not 30 feet away, was this gorgeous creature. Not sure if you'll be able to see it here, but there is some dried blood on the underside of his muzzle and throat. He was just plodding along, paying no attention to us. He was SO stealthy that only we and 2 other photographers even saw him.
